The Answers You Need
Frequently Asked Questions
How early should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive 1 ½ to 2 hours before your flight to check-in, check your baggage, and pass through the Security Checkpoint. All bags are required to be checked-in 45 minutes before departure time.
What should I do if I have a delayed bag?
Delayed baggage should be reported to the airport Baggage Service Office or Baggage Service Agent immediately after the arrival of your flight.
Baggage Service Offices are located in Baggage Claim. An Airline Representative for United and Delta will be available after each arrival in the Baggage Claim Area to assist you. For American Airlines, please proceed to the American Airlines Ticket Counter. An agent will be available to process your claim.

Ambassador Program
We are very proud of our Ambassador Program at the airport. Managed by the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, the Guest Service Information Desk located in the Arrivals area, is open every day of the year.
The Ambassadors are long time Aspen/Snowmass residents who have extensive knowledge of the community and a passion for outstanding Guest Service. They are stationed at the Desk, but roam throughout the airport and in front of the terminal. They greet every arriving passenger, answer questions, assist with transportation, hand out local newspapers, maps, brochures and area bus schedules, mail items to passengers that cannot go through TSA screening, maintain a lost & found department for items found in and outside the terminal, offer use of our phones, assist the airline staff with delayed baggage, and much more!
The airport is the first and last experience that visitors have of our community, and the Ambassadors reach out to them with sincere smiles and genuine caring to provide great memories for them to share with their families and friends. They truly exemplify the Aspen Chamber Branding of “Defy Ordinary”.
