Should the final EA be approved by the FAA after the 30 day comment period, the airport would begin the design phase, with community input, for runway widening and reconfiguration. After that and after FAA and other funding sources are secured, the airport would begin the design phase, with community input, for a new terminal building and ancillary facilities at the airport.
